Pot is not physically addictive, but for long-term users it is 100% a brain fuck. Anything we do for long periods of time is nuerologically wired into our brains, and kicking a bad habbit takes time to re-strucutre how we think, feel and desire. I’m in the same boat, Ive quit over and over agin for up to 8 months. Having an addictive personality makes the “occasional pot smoker” concept impossible for me. If it’s around, I’m smoking it until it’s gone. Not good…smoking for 12 years has taught me more about me and helped me realize my limits.

It’s like quitting meat or candy. I went to dinner with a friend and she was on a 30-day no pork diet. I forgot and ordered pork ribs. She looked at me so rough that entire night. I think the fact that marijuana users can quit and not even have that kind of attitude really shows how safe marijuana truly is, safer than pork ribs lol
